The telephone triage component of the nurse line empowers members with illness or symptomatic issues to obtain immediate health advice and treatment options. Callers with serious problems are encouraged to seek urgent help, avoiding dangerous and costly delays in initiating essential care, and callers who do not require medical care are able to avoid unnecessary trips to emergency rooms and physician offices.
Health management support services
Individuals who have a chronic disease or disability are referred to disease and health management programs. SironaHealth assists with:

Through IntelliView® and our DidUKno® logic engine, SironaHealth Registered Nurses can identify if a caller is eligible for disease management and offer program engagement and enrollment.
